REACH SKATER GORDEEVA AT CONNECTICUT CENTER

QUESTION: Please find an address where we could write to skater Ekaterina Gordeeva, whose pairs partner/husband died in November. I watched the "Celebration of Life" television program in honor of her husband Sergei Grinkov and thought it was the most touching program I have ever seen. Is there anywhere that I could buy a tape of it?

Also can you find out if promoter Tom Moffatt will be bringing the 1996 Campbell Soup Tour of World Figure Skating Champions to Hawaii this spring or summer? We would love to see Oksana Baiul skate in person.

ANSWER: Address your letter to Ekaterina Gordeeva, c/o International Skating Center of Connecticut, 1375 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, CT 06070.

Marge Ericson, receptionist at the center, said Ekaterina skates there regularly and receives mail there. She said the center is not selling tapes of that program.

The CBS sports department in New York said the network is not selling tapes of "Celebration of Life" but the program will be shown again. The date has not been set.

Tom Moffatt Productions is not bringing the Campbell Soup Tour program here this spring or summer, a spokeswoman said. But, the company is bringing in a different skating program, the Discover Card with skaters Kristi Yamaguchi, Scott Hamilton and others. The date is June 7, 8 p.m. at the Blaisdell Center Arena.
